Hey there TC Hero community! Hope y'all are doing fantastic since we got some fantastic news for you all. For the past month, we've been planning something pretty massive and it's finally underway. Our very first event, TC Hero Month 2024!! WHAT IS TC HERO MONTH 2024? So, I don't know if you remember, but at the beginning of the year I made a news post saying "this is the year of TC Hero, that's why I'm calling it TC Hero 2024". Me thinking heck yes, I finally have the time and energy to get this started. Fast forward like a week and life hits. HARD. And it's been hitting me hard all throughout the year.
I desperately wanted to do something this year, as over the years I've struggled to get eyes on my project. Now that life was being so lively, it was even more of a struggle to show anything at all, even though I was working incredibly hard IRL and on TC Hero stuff. I've been animating the same trailer for over a year now and it was really starting to do my head in, that I can't show anything. So I decided to go ahead and make a promotional event right before the year ends, getting to show off all kinds of cool TC Hero things that I've never before shared with the public! Hopefully... by the end of the month, to top everything off I could maybe even release the trailer... more about that later. WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TC HERO MONTH 2024
TC Hero month started yesterday! The "Week 0" so to speak. A ton of stuff was lined up for the first day, one of them being this video, where I announce TC Hero on my YouTube channel properly for the first time. On the same day I also updated the old website to the new one! Looking a lot fresher imo hehe.

At the start of the video there's even a bit of a TC Hero animation! The character in the trailer is voiced by none other than the great Josh Portillo! Who might this character be..? You'll need to wait a bit to find out. XD In the video, I also briefly mention TC Hero Month 2024, what it is and what I'll show off. There are 4 weeks during TC Hero Month. I'll go into what these will feature below.
WHAT'S GOING DOWN THIS NOVEMBER
TC Hero Month is split into 4 weeks: Week North, Week East, Week South and Week West. Each week will bring forth its own content, with Week North bringing the most to the table.
Each week will go similarly. One week will typically include:
3 Character reveals and trailers to go alongside them.
New promotional artwork.
At least 1 cast interview.
In addition to this, we have some fun secret things lined up for you too, but we don't want to spoil the surprise!!
Keep your eyes open and you may be pleasantly surprised by a couple fun things we have up our sleeves. Will that include... THE TRAILER? Ah yes, the trailer. The announcement trailer that I keep on saying that is coming soon and I end up delaying. Let me tell you, I am tired of saying that. The original plan was to have TC Hero Month do its thing, then at the end release the trailer. I'm gonna tell you straight, its not happening. No way. I can't do it. I'm just one guy and I need to take care of myself too. I'm working a 9-4 intense job with 2 hours commute time, waking up early every morning and sometimes going to the gym too. I haven't even had time to socialize with friends this year since I've been constantly exhausted.
So is the trailer doomed? Will you have to wait another year to see it get finished? To that I also say NO WAY BRO. The animation for the trailer is done. Colouring, shading and all. The only thing that is left now is to finish off backgrounds, do some compositing, editing, sound and music design and BANG it's basically finished!! You may not get it this year but when I say its coming soon, I mean SOON. I'm talking JANUARY soon. I genuinely can't see myself working on this for another few months, it's so close to completion its unbelievable.
Not only that, I'll be leaving the workplace this month!! This is my last month working there. It's been a wonderful environment to work in, despite it being so intense. My co-workers have been so good to me and in a way, despite everything I've been through, I think it was probably one of the best things that could've happened to me. I've grown so much as a person and helped so many people. So now that I'm leaving, that means I have EXTRA TIME to FINISH this trailer and finally get it to all you guys!! Even better, I want to take you all on the creative journey with me. Once the month is over I plan to STREAM the progress on the backgrounds, so you all can see the work behind the scenes! I've wanted to do it this year too but it really just has not been possible due to so much happening.
So there is light at the end of the tunnel. TC Hero Month 2024 will be the most intense month of my life, but I'm ready for it. I'm ready for the next chapter in TC Hero.
CONCLUSION This has been a very unprofessional post but I just wanna be real with you guys. It's been tough. I haven't had it easy, so much has gone on this year its genuinely unbelievable.
